It is bordered by the Watuppa Ponds to the northeast near Fall River, as well as Westport Harbor to the south, where the east branch and west branch of the Westport River meet and flow into Rhode Island Sound.
Spend a day at Horseneck Beach, or enjoy a wine tasting at Westport Rivers Vineyards & Winery. Enjoy a lobster roll and salty breezes at The Back Eddy, which overlooks the Westport River. Many art galleries abound, such as the Dedee Shattuck Gallery. Of course, as with any coastal community, there is plenty of kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing, and other adventures for those who prefer to spend their time on the water.
