Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty Launches a Cloud-based Technology Suite for Agents

Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty has announced a launch of a new cloud-based tech suite, “MCSIR Connect”, for its agents. The firm, built with technology in mind, continues to be the region’s most technologically advanced real estate company by offering agents a toolbox for simplifying the buying and selling process, marketing properties to a global audience, and matching each buyer with the perfect home. “MCSIR Connect” is a single sign-on customized and mobile-friendly portal that integrates all of the brokerage’s agent resources into a centralized hub. Within the portal, agents can access a variety of data targeted to their individual business, including company resources, and prevalent software. With the goal of providing agents with simple and easy access to all tools available, the firm has implemented a “best of breed” solution of top-of-the-line products and services in order to remain at the forefront of luxury brokerages.

Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty, an early adopter of the MoxiWorks suite, has enabled agents with a robust platform of real estate technology built on four pillars. In addition to the newly redesigned consumer-facing brokerage website, the firm has introduced its agents to MoxiEngage, a CRM designed to keep clients organized, increase productivity, and strengthen relationships. Agents have access to MoxiPresent, a top-notch CMA tool and presentation builder complete with endless creative opportunities, MoxiImpress, a simple and automated marketing tool geared toward time-saving and business driving, and MoxiWebsites, an easy-to-use website builder for agents to get found, sell homes, and grow business.

The integration of MoxiWorks is the latest installment of cutting-edge technology the firm has rolled out recently. In May 2019, Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty launched a partnership with Buyside, a web-based platform that delivers predictive analytics to homeowners with a complete picture of the demand of any property. In November 2020, the firm introduced an award-winning home platform search, RealScout, allowing clients an improved and comprehensive experience throughout the home buying and selling process. RealScout’s collaborative search platform features technology that puts clients back in the center of the conversation with their agents. In February 2021, the firm rolled out Testimonial Tree, an automated system to help agents capture more testimonials. Most recently, the MCSIR Ad Tracker was launched in May of 2021. This new intranet site allows agents to easily search for listings and see all recent activity done by the in-house marketing department.

“We have a way of uniting extraordinary homes with extraordinary lives,” adds Judy Chace, Broker/Co-Owner of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. “We are some of the most talented real estate advisors in southern New England, we know luxury, and we have state-of-the-art technology behind us.”

Coupled with the extensive Sotheby’s International Realty® tech stack available to affiliate brokerages, the firm continues to innovate and use technology to help clients succeed.  As a result, Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty did $766M in sales volume in 2020. *

“It is our mission to provide our clients with the world-class service and property exposure they expect when working with a Sotheby’s International Realty® affiliate,” said Ray Mott, Broker/Co-Owner of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. “Our insatiable need to innovate and lead with technology helps us achieve that goal each day.”

“Dramatic features and all the modern luxuries you could ask for,” says Geb Masterson. “This home is just incredible. Located in a private association overlooking Newport, “Sea Grace” exudes luxury, privacy, and style.”

The sale of 518 Ocean Road is a result of the power of the Sotheby’s International Realty brand. The advanced technology of sothebysrealty.com and the global network of resources introduced the buyer to this magnificent Rhode Island coastal home.  According to data available from the Rhode Island Multiple Listing Service, this is the highest recorded property sale ever in Narragansett, selling for 46% higher than the previous record. This is also the highest sale statewide this year. Last month, Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty represented the sellers of the most expensive home in the municipality since 2018. Today, the firm has broken its own top sale record in Narragansett once again.

“We continue to hold onto our extremely strong presence in the Rhode Island luxury market,” states Judy Chace, Broker/Co-Owner of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. “Our company and our leadership in the market continues to grow at a steady rate and we are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished so far this year.”

Ocean Road, situated on the coast of Narragansett where the homes overlook the Atlantic Ocean, offers residents stunning sunrises and sea breezes. The sophisticated home at 518 Ocean Road allows for exceptional vistas from the elevated terrace completed with an infinity pool that magically melds back into the ocean beyond.

“Nothing says Rhode Island luxury like Ocean Road,” affirms Ray Mott, Broker/Co-Owner of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. “We are honored to have represented clients in the sale of this distinctive home.”

White Bedding: Refresh Your Space With Luxury Linens

Maloney Interiors Team here with some tricks of the trade!

ALL WHITE LINENS ARE OUR GO-TO PICK FOR A LUXE BEDROOM RETREAT. WE’RE SPILLING OUR TOP TIPS ON PURCHASING + CARING FOR WHITE BEDDING.

Image: Matouk

If you haven’t considered using white bedding before, here are a few of our top reasons to make the switch. We’re also rounding up our favorite sources for high-quality white linens that are worth the investment.

From stain potential to laundry care, we know white bedding may seem a bit intimidating, especially from a maintenance standpoint. However, white bedding can actually be easier to care for than other alternatives! Unlike colored bedding, white bedding can often be treated and washed at higher temperatures than colored bedding- reducing any stain concerns and offering a longer lifespan. To maintain the brightness of your bedding, the following steps are recommended:

For Routine Washes:

  • 1/4 cup baking soda mixed with a small amount of mild liquid detergent
  • 1/2 cup vinegar added to the fabric softener compartment

Be sure to wash on gentle in cool to warm water.

For More Intensive Washes (i.e. to remove stains or reverse discoloring):

  • 1 cup vinegar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp dishwashing liquid

Soak in a tub of warm water for at least 30 minutes and then machine wash regular with cool water. Bonus tip- drying your freshly washed white bedding in the sun is a best-kept secret for maintaining whiteness.

IT’S A CLASSIC

If there’s one thing we particularly love about white bedding, it’s that it goes with everything and will never go out of style. Spending a bit extra on a quality white duvet will end up costing less in the long run as opposed to a wild pattern that won’t grow with you or your space. For the most timeless of styles, we love Matouk this set is our go-to for any home.

IT’S PRACTICAL

As we mentioned, white bedding is undeniably the easiest to care for long term. Opting for an all-white ensemble not only gives you the flexibility to wash and bleach, but it also adds ease to your everyday. No more sifting through piles to find matching pillowcases- if everything is white, you can streamline your household chores and spend more time doing things you actually enjoy. If you’re weary to leave patterned bedding in the wind, consider adding a textured coverlet such as this one from Eastern Accents to keep the look interesting.

IT’S LUXURIOUS

All-white bedding is a hotel staple- bring the luxe resort vibe to your bedroom by emulating the calmness and opulence found in many hotel suites. We love using the Pettine Collection from Sferra to create the ultimate spa-like experience in any master bedroom.

IT’S CALMING

White bedding is the perfect combination with any color palette and balances out any visual clutter in a room. We even recommend white bedding in children’s rooms to counter bright toys and other decor accents. If you aren’t ready to make the full switch, start by choosing a high-quality all-white sheet set so you can test drive the idea of white linens.
