Born in Calcutta, India, I was raised with simple values that guide me to this day. A love of poetry and a pursuit of beauty. My grandfather worked until he was 97. Proudly, I come from a family that truly loves their professions.
I was introduced at an early age to a world of design and style while growing up in my family of textile designers. An urban person at heart, I completed my foundation work at Parsons in New York City and then went on to earn degrees in Photography and Philosophy at NYU. Then, I enrolled at RISD, where I studied Jewelry and Metalsmithing.
It was in Providence, Rhode Island that I established my jewelry studio in 2002, out of which I continue to work. In 2019 I opened my store, pH Factor, on Hope Street. This old-school brick and mortar shop is the dream I dreamed with my eyes open.
My background in art and design, together with my belief that the spaces in which we live are essential to the quality of our lives, led me naturally to a career in real estate. I love to listen, learn my clients’ stories and goals, and help them make moves of their choosing with ease. My organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail position me well to assist my clients in transactions of every nature.
When I am not working in real estate or creating in my studio, I love to spend time and travel with my family. I am an avid reader of The New Yorker, and an enthusiastic cook. I tell a good joke, I appreciate well-made things, and I love a great cocktail.
