Kelly moved to South County in 2006 when her husband chose to begin his medical career as an OB/GYN MD at South County Hospital. With the help of an excellent real estate agent, Kelly and her family discovered and fell in love with southern Rhode Island and established their forever home and community. Recognizing the benefits of a personal relationship with an experienced REALTOR, she knew that her career passion would be offering excellence to clients looking to buy or sell real estate in Rhode Island. Kelly believes deeply that the relationship between a client and an agent is an intimate partnership that guides clients to make the best decisions for one of the biggest financial and emotional investments that people make in their lives. She began her real estate path in 2014, and it has proven to be the perfect fit.
Walking a client through the detailed process of Buying or Selling is the commitment Kelly embodies through preparing a property to list (decluttering, staging, ensuring the properties highest presentation), contract negotiations, walking through the inspection process, locating the optimal new property for a client's next life stage, and to the final closing preparations to ensure a smooth transaction as possible. Kelly's commitment to quick, clear, and thorough communications is also a key to her professional excellence. Kelly's broad knowledge base at every price point and types of properties offers a wealth of information and experience, whether a primary, vacation, or investment property. She believes the more a client is educated and advised, the better real estate decisions a client will make for their lives.
Kelly raised three children (Evan, Nathan and Ella) in South County both in the public and private schools. She has been an active part of the education community, including as past President of the PTO.
She enjoys traveling, including visiting her son in Switzerland and helping with her family's local beans to bar handcrafted chocolate business.

"This is not my first home buying experience, but I definitely had some hesitancy to buy again given the current market. Kelly was so great at explaining things, and she has such an analytical grasp on the market trends. I always felt supported by her every step of the way and felt confident she had my best interests in mind. I learned so much form her and I'm so grateful to have been one of her clients." -Alex J. "I am writing to highly recommend the services of Kelly Schneider of Mott & Chace Sotheby's. Kelly was my elderly mother's realtor in the fall of 2023, when my mother decided that it was time to sell her home of the past 60 years and move into a senior living facility. Throughout this process, my family found Kelly to be a consummate professional. She clearly understood the current housing market. She explained in detail her recommendations with respect to listing price, timing of the sale, and steps likely to facilitate a fair selling price. She patiently and knowledgably answered our many questions about pricing and about preparing the house to be shown. She guided us through all the required paperwork, and responded quickly to our phone calls and emails. She spent many hours showing the house and communicating with potential buyers. She informed us promptly of offers and inquiries from potential buyers, and of any other significant developments. In addition, she referred us to competent individuals when we needed to have legally-required work done on the house (such as installing code-compliant smoke and carbon monoxide detectors) and for other work that she recommended (such as some interior painting). In addition, she was very understanding and respectful of our family's need, on several occasions, to take more time than she had recommended to complete various steps in the process. We appreciate her many hours of energetic, professional work, the ethical manner in which she did that work, and her patience and flexibility in working with our family. "
