Kathy's tradition of loyalty and devotion to her clients and customers got its roots in her love of, and work in, the restaurant business. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island where she realized that teaching was not for her, she moved to Vail, Colorado to ski and experience life in the west. She met her “chef” husband there where they co-owned a restaurant called the Clock Tower Cafe. Kathy and husband Vasilios (yes, he is Greek) moved back to Rhode Island in 1984 to raise their two boys. They opened the award-winning French Restaurant "Basil's" in Narragansett and ran it successfully for 31 years.
In 1992 Kathy got her real estate license while still working in the restaurant, and has been an active, premier agent since. Her knowledge of Rhode Island real estate is extensive, as is her commitment to the communities she serves. Her two sons attended the public schools where she was a long-time volunteer in the guidance office as well as volunteering at the Jonnycake Center for Hope. Her much admired work ethic has led to decades of success as a multimillion-dollar producer and recognition as one of the area’s top real estate professionals. Her organizational skills are unmatched, her eye for detail is exceptional and her listening skills will always ensure that your concerns are being addressed in an efficient, proactive matter. You can trust Kathy to get the job done for you - whether buying or selling - she will always have your best interest at heart.
Kathy has been a yearly recipient of Rhode Island Monthly's Professional Excellence in Real Estate Service Award since it was first offered in 2011. She is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute, has a Residential Specialist Certification, and is a member of the Real Estate Association of Staging Professionals. When not working, Kathy enjoys relaxing at the beach, traveling, yoga and spending time with her five grandchildren.
