Frank
Maher represents Rhode Island, and his clients well. A native Rhode
Islander, growing up in South County, living in Providence and Newport Frank
knows every corner of the state, its’ communities and what makes Rhode Island a
special place to live. Frank has been involved in real estate for more than
fifteen years, owning investment properties, obtaining his license after having
referred and worked with numerous clients assisting them in all of their real
estate needs. Frank works with each client, identifying their goals, wants, and
needs. Each client receives Frank’s full attention, available to help in any way
required.
Frank
brings a set of skills he has utilized in his work as a fundraiser for several
larger non-profits, each one representing a mission personal to him. Having
raised more than $130M in his career as a major gifts officer, focused on
capital campaigns, Frank approaches each transaction as he has for the goals
for the campaigns he represented– identifying a need, engaging qualified leads,
and closing a sale that represents a good investment for both parties.
Having
lived in Rhode Island his entire life, but working for national organizations
Frank has relationships, connections, and professional ties statewide,
regionally, and beyond. As a fundraiser, part of Frank’s role was working with
corporate executives. Frank became a resource for people moving into and around
the state, having knowledge of the varied communities, being involved with
several private schools and universities, and having a network he was always
happy to connect with. These relationships often lead to Frank referring clients
to other agents until he became licensed himself, allowing Frank to continue to
help people, something he takes great pride in.
The
current real estate market has specific challenges, with Frank working hard to
accomplish and exceed the goals of his clients. Frank treats each client as he
would his friends and family.
In addition to being a licensed Realtor, Frank
continues to work as a fundraiser. Currently, Frank oversees the Go Red for
Women Campaign for the American Heart Association, a cause and mission close to
his heart. Frank is a graduate of Bryant University and Johnson & Wales.
Frank lives in Newport with his husband David, and their daughter Ella. They
are proud members of the Moses Brown community; Ella having attended since
nursery and David as a teacher there for eleven years.
