Susan grew up in Rhode Island. A graduate of La Salle Academy she left to attend college in Boston. After graduating with a degree in Graphic Arts, she moved to Block Island to work for The Block Island Times as a Production Assistant. By the time she left The Times she was the Advertising Production Manager, and their longest remaining employee, surviving four ownership transitions. After nearly two decades calling Block Island home, a time she describes with a smile as "hard time on the rock," she moved to Wakefield. She chose the area for all the things she loves about Rhode Island: the ocean, small town New England charm and proximity to Providence, Newport, New York and Boston. A wanna-be architect, she enjoys renovating houses, and with her husband Ted, recently completed a substantial renovation of their home. They survived the process with good humor, despite sharing four teen-aged children, two dogs and a cat, who did not enjoy the lack of a kitchen for several months. The transition to real estate seemed natural to her, as she has spent a great deal of time crafting advertising for real estate agencies. Her love of architecture and design, meeting new people, and ability to discern what it is that her clients are looking for in their next home, make her job not only fun for her, but a less stressful experience for her clients. She looks forward to meeting prospective clients to discuss their hopes for the future.
