Exploring Seaside Luxury

Nestled in the southeast corner of our state lies the quiet town of Little Compton. Expansive estates with breathtaking Sakonnet River views are the pulse of luxury. Featuring an extensive history dating back to the original Plymouth Colony, it is no surprise that much of the luxury real estate in Little Compton comes with a lengthy history. Offerings like 448-450 West Main Road, which dates back to 1750, embrace true Colonial architecture sited on almost 30 acres of land. However, newer constructions and vacant land is still available on this inviting peninsula. 32 Indian Hill Road, built in 1997, is a Colonial design spanning over 4,000 square feet and provides pastoral farmland sights with captivating sunsets over the Sakonnet. Sprawling estates yet to be built on land sites such as 291 West Main Road provide a plethora of options for future luxury expansion in the town as well.

Traveling due west of the Sakonnet, the seafarers’ paradise of Newport is abounding with luxury real estate. As the sun rises in the east, the shadows of the Newport Mansions begin to take shape harboring the morning dew. Ornate façades and intricate detail envelope entryways as a glimpse of elite life is illuminated. Luxury real estate trickles from the mansions into offerings such as 36 Beacon Hill Road where waterfront luxury includes a rooftop space and private ballroom. Residences like the historic Pump House at 93 Annandale Road provide an in-town luxury experience with terraces, ornate gardens, and a pool that envelopes a total of 7,000 square feet living space. The summer bustle of the wharfs embraces world-class condominium luxury. Offerings like 24 Brown and Howard Wharf, Unit 301, embody mesmerizing water views and sunsets with over 2,000 square feet of sophistication.

As we head north over the Mt. Hope bridge, the town of Barrington and its abundance of luxury homes emerges. The tiny town, with a land mass of approximately 8.5 square miles, has attractive luxury homes both on the water and in town. Waterfront luxury properties like the 1910 home at 70 Clarke Road overlook Barrington Beach on an expansive, secluded estate just steps from the water. At 77 Rumstick Road, serenity prospers in this 1994 custom Colonial. With lush grounds and your very own putting green this private space embraces an unmatched pastoral ambience. With a multitude of waterfront options, homes in the multi-millions are commonplace in the town of Barrington.
