The shingled exterior of the home is nearly identical to its original 1848 design while the interior was completely remodeled in 2005.

Representing the buyer in the successful closing of 11 Berkley Avenue, Judy Chace asserts, “Offering an opportunity to enjoy the privacy of an expansive home in the heart of Newport, Holly House embraces a refined and captivating living experience.” The sellers of this circa 1900 Center Hall Colonial were represented by Kim Doherty and Alex Thursby of Lila Delman Real Eastate.

According to data from Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service, 12 Yosemite Valley Road is the highest sale in Westerly this year. The buyers of this secluded Watch Hill estate were represented by Robin Knisley, Broker Associate with Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. The sellers in this transaction were represented by Larry Burns of Lila Delman Real Estate.

“The sale of 12 Yosemite Valley Road represents an impressive start to our 2017 year in Watch Hill. This extraordinary estate embraces an opportunity to reside in one of Rhode Island’s most attractive beach communities,” remarks Ray Mott, Broker/Owner of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty.

The 1910 shingle-style estate once belonged to the Sisters of Mercy. Nestled on three private acres, 12 Yosemite Valley Road has sold for the first time in over 50 years. At over 7,000 square feet, the sprawling property features 20 bedrooms and 7 fireplaces.

According to Knisley, “It has been a pleasure working with the new owners of 12 Yosemite, and I’m so happy for their family to make lasting memories in this fantastic Watch Hill home. Larry Burns did an incredible job working with numerous offers and allowing everyone a fair opportunity to purchase the property.”
